A coalition of housing and homelessness service providers submitted more than 410,000 signatures in support of a proposed Los Angeles County ballot measure aimed at funding affordable housing, homelessness prevention, and related services.

St. Joseph Center President and CEO Dr. Ryan J. Smith joined coalition partners and community leaders in supporting the initiative, emphasizing the need for sustained investment in housing and services for people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County.

The proposed measure sought to replace the existing Measure H quarter-cent sales tax with a half-cent sales tax and expand funding for affordable housing and homelessness programs.
