“Bold New Way” Measure Approved for November 2024 Ballot to Transform Homelessness Services

St. Joseph Center joined community partners from across Los Angeles County in submitting more than 400,000 signatures to the County Registrar in support of A Bold New Way to House LA, a proposed ballot measure focused on strengthening homelessness services and expanding affordable housing.

The initiative called for increased investment in homelessness prevention, affordable housing, mental health support, and services for people experiencing homelessness throughout Los Angeles County.

The May 2024 signature submission marked an important step in the effort to qualify the measure for the November 2024 ballot.
