St. Joseph Center created a Mother’s Day Café at our South LA interim housing site, welcoming over 200 mothers and families for a day centered on dignity, joy, and connection.
St. Joseph Center created a Mother’s Day Café at our South LA interim housing site, welcoming over 200 mothers and families for a day centered on dignity, joy, and connection. With the help of 75 dedicated staff and volunteers, joy filled the air as participants celebrated motherhood with fresh flowers, music, kids’ activities, raffles, and food delights.
Many thanks to St. Joseph Center staff, Bread & Roses Training Kitchen, Marathon Burger for their food donations, and Los Angeles City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson for providing transportation for participating families.
