FOX 11 Good Day LA visited St. Joseph Center’s Bread and Roses Café in Venice to celebrate 35 years of serving meals with dignity and connecting unhoused neighbors with support and services.
St. Joseph Center President and CEO Dr. Ryan J. Smith joined FOX 11 Good Day LA at Bread and Roses Café in Venice as the program celebrated its 35th anniversary.
During the segment, Ryan spoke about the café’s history and its role in St. Joseph Center’s work with people experiencing homelessness. Bread and Roses provides meals in a welcoming, restaurant-style environment while helping connect guests with additional services and support.
The anniversary marks more than three decades of bringing together food, hospitality, and community at Bread and Roses Café.
