50th Anniversary Fund
For half a century, St. Joseph Center has been here for our community—serving our unhoused and low-income neighbors without distinction. From our humble beginnings in a single storefront on Rose Avenue supporting just a few dozen neighbors, we have grown into a caring network that now serves 15,000 people each year, providing housing, food security, job training, and mental health support. We have stood with our community and will continue to do so.
To commemorate our milestone anniversary, we are launching a 50th Anniversary Fund – a fund to honor St. Joseph Center’s enduring legacy while ensuring our next 50 years, building a stronger, more hopeful future for all Angelenos.
EVERY gift will be matched, up to $500,000, doubling the good you do and helping us to reach our ambitious goal of $2 million.
Gifts to the 50th Anniversary Fund will support St. Joseph Center’s most vital services: food security, housing and homelessness services, mental health support, workforce development & job training, and more – wherever the need is greatest.

Your contribution honors St. Joseph Center’s 50 years of service in Los Angeles and helps ensure that our neighbors have access to food, housing, jobs, and mental health support today and for decades to come. Gifts of $1,000 and above will be recognized in our 50th Anniversary materials. All gifts – of any size – make a meaningful difference.

There are many St. Joseph Center programs that need your support. A gift to our 50th Anniversary Fund of any amount will make an immediate difference. You can donate to one of the following:

Donors who give $5,000 or more will receive permanent recognition on our 50th Anniversary Donor Wall at our Hampton office and an invitation to a special reception.
