As we prepare for the new school year, many students in our community are facing significant challenges. 13% of children in LA County lived in poverty last year, according to the Los Angeles County Public Policy Institute of California. Rising food prices are making it even harder for families to provide for their children.
St. Joseph Center is addressing these needs by supporting low-income students and those experiencing homelessness with essential school supplies.
