Academy Award-Winner Helen Hunt Hosts "Housewarming Party" for homeless families moving into homes

Go to press releaseHelen Hunt, along with her daughter Makena Lei, will co-host a one-hour virtual celebration to welcome home individuals and families transitioning from temporary shelters into their own apartments. The event will help raise funds for welcome home baskets, which provide cleaning supplies, bathroom and kitchen items, and other essentials one needs when moving into a new home. The goal is to raise $40,000 to provide 200 move in baskets for people transitioning from homelessness into their new apartments.
